The 2 to 1 shot for the Never A Quarrel – Bet With Coral Sprint, Millwards Dan was quite a prominent player at the early stages of the season but then his dominance faded as he went through hard luck in a few races which he under took. The £175 event will
be hosted by Romford over 225 metres flat on Friday, 13th July.
Sharing the track with Millwards Dan will be Slick Shane, Edgards Champ, Bantiss Dermot, Finnside Scolari and Blackstone Bob.
Droopys Scolari’s son’s first success was in a 285 metres race at Hove on 23rd April, 2012. He went away quickly, and then raced wide from the middle. He timed the track distance in 16.49 seconds.
The success on 20th May, 2012 at Hove over 285 metres in the Gala Coral Maiden Sprint turned out to be the first leg of a hat-trick that was soon to be achieved.
The Paul Young trained set into an early pace, went wide from the middle, and then became the undisputed leader, settling the track distance in 16.44 seconds. He won by the margin of ¾ of a length.
Ending as the runner-up of the race was, Gilbeyhall Ned, who joined the winner after racing for 16.50 seconds.
25th May, 2012 got the two-year-old black dog winning The Never A Quarrel? Bet With Coral Sprint at Romford over225 metres. The favourite fell into an early pace, went wide and then took the lead, making it to the other end in 13.74 seconds.
Castle Comet followed right after leaping through the gap of half the length, and timed the track distance in 13.78 seconds.
Striking the seasonal hat-trick, the two-year-old black hound won The Coral.Co.UK Sprint on 1st June, 2012 at Romford over 225 metres. Millwards Dan sped from the fifth gate and raced away quickly. After going wide, he did not delegate the lead
to any of the other contenders on the track and rested the race in 13.58 seconds.
Qualifying as the runner-up was, Bantisss Dermot, after racing for 13.62 seconds while filling up the third slot was, Air Force Solo.
