Manchester City’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/James-Milner-c17706 feels that England can be successful in the Euro 2012, should they be able to replicate the way Chelsea won the Champions League.
Milner was part of the City squad that went on to win the Premier league this season, but he had to sit and watch from home, as Chelsea went on to life the Champions League trophy.
The Blues went on to beat http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 on their way to the finals and then managed to overcome Bayern Munich.
The team didn’t play the best football out there, but whatever they did, was quite effective and got the job done.
Milner is now hoping for the national team to realize this, so that they might be able to replicate those performances, as they hope to win the title of being the best European team out there.
When talking about the upcoming competition and how looking at Chelsea’s tactics can help, Milner is reported to have said:  "Winning's a habit and you want to get into those habits of winning trophies and getting into that winning mentality.”
"I think the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and Manchester City wins were pretty special and there was lots of tension and up and down during the games, and that's the beauty of football if you like.”

"But the main thing from our point of view is we managed to finish the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 and win the Premier League and like you say, Chelsea go out there and do a job against all the odds, playing away from home if you like, in the Champions League final.”
Despite Milner’s claims, he needs to realize that he doesn’t have the same players that Chelsea did. The team was being led by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Didier-Drogba-c11044, who was in a world of his own in the Champions League.
In order for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wayne-Rooney-c36736 to be able to try and learn from Drogba and hope to replicate the Ivorian performances.
Nonetheless, it is too early to say anything and it is quite unclear as to how the team will perform in the upcoming tournament under their new manager.
