Milos Buddy in the highlight of the Grade A1 420 metres flat race at Peterborough
The undisputed favourite for the Grade A1 420 metres flat race has to be the two-year-old black dog, Milos Buddy. He is unbeaten in the two starts that he undertook after three training sessions in September and October this season.
The J. Forman trained proved successful in the Grade A3 and then the Grade A2 debut at Peterborough.
The fourth trap won the Grade A3 420 metres flat race on 17th November, 2012 at Peterborough. The hound dressed in the black jacket did not rest after taking off from the trap, and kept on with the leading role. He made it to the other end of the wire in 25.68 seconds, and defeated the fifth trap, Savana Alex, by 2 ½ lengths.
Taking refuge in the third position was, Grafton Razlor.
Ciaras Castle’s son kept on with the same racing pattern in the very next outing too. It suited the outcome as the two-year-old out of, Tyrur Rosanna, had been allotted the same trap as the previous race.
On 21st November, 2012, the fourth stall, Milos Buddy, broke into the commanding position and retained it right until the wire, making the transit to the other end in 25.82 seconds.
The favourite entry won the winner’s prize money as he led the runner-up, Surrey Boy, by 2 ¼ lengths.
Milos Buddy will have not have to make any extra ordinary changes or alterations to his style of racing as he has to race in the same colour tonight too.
He will have to keep a stern check on the competition, and will need to avoid any form of bumping and crowding that do become highly likely when breaking from the fourth trap. Even though the trap has been lucky for him so far, the black hound should take all the precautions that mighty come handy in worst case scenarios.
Competing with him tonight will be, Monleek Sloopy, Thameside Brae, Dodgy Darren, Glenadda Panther and Boots For Gold.
The fourth trap is backed by 5 to 2 odds and nailing this race down will entitle him to a hat-trick. The qualification can make connections pondering over his future options.
