If I had 100 million, I would have bought two players for 10 million and invested 90 million in the development sector of Russian football, says Savo Milosevic
Zenit St. Petersburg broke all previous records ever made in the history of the Russian Premier League after signing Hulk and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/SL-Benfica-c40542.
The defending champions invested 60 million Euros on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hulk-c16436 while 40 million on the Belgian International. Both the players signed a four-year contract with the Russian outfit after leaving their respective Primeira Liga clubs during
the summer transfer window.
And while both the players does not have a swift track record of winning with all the clubs they have been involved in their playing career till date, Savo Milosevic has questioned Luciano Spalletti’s credibility to sign the aforementioned
players this summer.
The 39-year-old has blasted the Russian outfit for buying just two players for a record fee, saying that if he had 100 million in his pocket he would have spent 10 million on new signings and invested the rest of the money for
the development of Russian football.
Milosevic, who played at Rubin Kazan before joining the Serbian Football Associating as a sporting director, admitted that that Serbian clubs cannot afford to invite famous players to their country as they are lacking potential
investments.
The Yugoslav Cup winner went on to tell that the Serbian club can pay a maximum of 500,000 Euros for a player.
“The Serbian club’s cannot afford more salaries. Maximum salary for any player is 300,000 Euros annually.”

players to step into the first team. They, meanwhile, receive bonuses if their player completes a transfer to a bigger league.” The Football League Cup winner was quoted as saying.
Milosevic went on to urge the Russian outfits to show their spending power in the development of football.
