Hay my husband is in the Miltary and is currently in Italy. I filied for my No-fee passport about a week ago, but what do I have to do to get a visa?

  1. After you get your command sponsorship you'll be able to enter Italy with your passport only.  After you get to the base the personnel office will send it out to get a SOFA (Status of Forces Agreement) stamp put into it.  This will act as a visa.


  2. If your husband is military he should be able to have his orders amended and add you to them.  This will allow you to fly with your passport only.
