Milwaukee Brewers’ Corey Hart back
The Milwaukee Brewers had an interesting and joyful news to share with the fans on Monday, April 02, as Corey Hart was given clearance to rejoin the team after he was earlier down with surgically repaired knee.
Corey Hart was previously not expected to show up early in the season, but Monday’s news will be excitingly received given the hopes this player inspires. The Brewers are scheduled to play exhibition games against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday and
Wednesday where Hart will also show up.
Hart’s surgery came last month, on March 6, after the cartilage tears in the right knee. The rehab for it would have to take time, and almost a month’s period was announced earlier. But with his arrival for Tuesday’s game, Hart is also expected to make his
appearance in the Opening Day game that is to be played against the World Series champs, the St. Louis Cardinals.
“He's ready," Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said. "He's actually pretty excited about it. Today, he woke up and came in and feels great."
As for the surgery that he had, team manager had his insight to share about it.
"He pushed it," Roenicke said. "He got out there and got after it with the idea he would like to be ready for Opening Day. He would have been OK if we thought it was better as far as going to Triple-A for a few days, but he's pretty happy about [breaking
camp in the Major Leagues]. Anytime you work hard, you want things to go well, and I think this went well."
With Aramis Ramirez in the side, and Cart playing in the fifth, the Brewers will make a unique combination as far as their offence is concerned. After the departure of Prince Fielder, the Brewers have – among others, this duo to rely upon so as to see a
charged up hitting side.
As to how prepare he is for the Opening Day game will be seen in Tuesday’s game when he will play against the Arizona Diamondbacks in a much anticipated game prior to the new season.
