Milwaukee Brewers’ Ryan Braun hits his first homer in Cactus League – MLB News
The Milwaukee Brewers’ left fielder Ryan Braun stated on Thursday, March 8, that he will keep the approach unchanged for the season. As he has successfully come out of a failed drug test controversy, winning the appeal against 50-game suspension, Ryan Braun
is increasingly the focus of media attention.
"I get it. I know people are going to be paying more attention," Braun said. "But for me, my goal is to try to have the same approach I've always had. Prepare myself for the start of the season."
With his return in the game, the left fielder on Thursday had his first homer of the season as he sprang into action. The game against the Cincinnati Reds saw the extraordinarily powerful and effective hitter smash a home-run against Sean Marshall.
With the massive show of power by the player, he has formally enunciated his return. The homer that was witnessed on Thursday might well be seen on Friday as swell when the Brewers will play against the Cleveland Indians.
Sunday’s game against the Colorado Rockies will be another showdown which will attract the attention owing to the presence of this player.
While Ryan Braun has had overwhelming support of the fans throughout these years, especially when he had been going through tough times of appeal against the 50-game suspension, he knows opinions will vary as to what the nature of the problem was. Nonetheless,
he asserts everybody has been supportive.
"People are going to have different opinions," Braun said. "Most of them don't know the real story. It's tough sometimes to base your opinion or formulate a decision when you don't know what happened. Overall, everybody has been real supportive."
Ryan Braun was loath to discuss anything further on the matter that is a closed chapter now. The incident might have had a huge impact on him and his career, nonetheless, the player wants to move on.
That is indeed the right approach. With the performance he has exhibited in the Cactus League so far, it is clear Braun’s performance will remain invulnerable no matter what the circumstances are.
