Milwaukee Brewers hit the Cincinnati Reds hard with an 8-1 pounding on Wednesday, September 26 at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.
It was an easy victory for the Brewers who showed their batting prowess and rattled the Reds’ entire rotation.
"We're playing really good, At this point where we've put ourselves, unfortunately we need help from somebody. But if we continue to play well, it gives us a chance that somebody can get hot and come in and beat them. At this point, they're all critical games. They're not going to lose that much," manager Ron Roenicke said on his team’s performance.
Roenicke added, "Today was the way he pitches, Today we were really happy with the way he threw the ball. This is how he pitches when he's really going well."
Right fielder Norichika Aoki played beautifully and scored two runs and three hits on his blistering .440 slugging percentage.
He also ran for two RBIs and proved his valour with big energy on his four at-bats.
Second baseman Rickie Weeks scored one run and smashed one hit on his five outings on the plate. He played aggressive and maintained his slugging percentage at .403 with great precision.
