Milwaukee Brewers sign Carlos Gomez to three-year extension – MLB Update
The Milwaukee Brewers have given centre fielder Carlos Gomez a potential three-year extension deal on his existing contract.
"I’m going to spend seven years of my career with this team, and I feel like that’s my career, It feels really exciting to continue my progress. Some people ask me if I’m happy. Yes, I’m happy, but I’m not going to be completely happy in my job until I’m
sure I deserve that money,” said Gomez on his recent extension with the Milwaukee Brewers.
Gomez added with jubilation, "Money’s not going to make me change. I’m a fighter. I’m a winner. I have to continue working hard and I have to continue to prove I’m a centerfielder for this ballclub for another four years."
Carlos Gomez did well in the last Major League Baseball outing and achieved .260 hitting average along with 19 home-runs, 51 RBIs and .305 OBP. Overall he also carries good career hitting average of .247 along with 44 home-runs, 198 RBIs and .294 OBP.
