Milwaukee Bucks beat Los Angeles Clippers 102-78
Going into Monday night's encounter against the Los Angeles Clippers, the Bucks had lost three consecutive games and needed something remarkable to pull them out of that tailspin. If anybody thought that Carlos Delfino would help his side snap the losing
streak, then those people were right.
Carlos Delfino played one of his best games of the 2010-11 season with a career-high seven three-pointers, as the Milwaukee Bucks thrashed the Los Angeles Clippers 102-78, at the Bradley Center. In addition, Delfino scored 21 of his game-high 26 points in
the second half.
Brandon Jennings came off the bench to score 20 points in the home win - matching his best performance since returning from surgery. John Salmons played a simple but effective game as he added 16 points and tied a career-high with 12 assists for Milwaukee,
who are now 13-12 at home.

streak but eventually finished with 22 points in the defeat.
Blake Griffin also played well as he recorded 19 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists for the Clippers, who fell to 4-21 on the road this season. The 27-years-old guard, Randy Foye finished with 16 for Los Angeles, who lost their 35thgame of the

to end their season on a high.
Both teams started at a crisp pace as the game was tied at eight points just five minutes into the opening quarter. However, Jennings had half of Milwaukee's 22 points in the first quarter. The pressure of playing in front of their home crowd kept the Bucks
going as they took a 22-17 lead at the end of the first quarter.
The Bucks continued their offensive play into the second quarter as they extended their lead to 43-30 four minutes into the second. The Clippers on the other hand fought hard in the second quarter as they went on a 6-0 run to bridge the 13-point gap to 36-43
with two minutes remaining in the quarter. Milwaukee took a two-point lead into the half at 47-45.
The Bucks came out strongly in the third quarter and continued with their balanced scoring attack. The game was again tied at 58-58 with five and a half minutes left in the third. Mbah a Moute scored a free throw to give the Bucks a single-point lead, and
Milwaukee carried a 71-65 advantage into the final stanza.
The Bucks turned it on in the fourth quarter, quickly extending their lead to 13 with a 6-0 burst capped by one of Delfino’s two three-pointers and it remained a double-digit affair from there. Milwaukee outscored the Clippers by 31-13 in the fourth to seal
their 21st victory of the season.
Clippers Coach Vinny Del Negro lamented his side's poor performance in the final quarter. He said, "The fourth quarters kill us. When the game gets a little tight we don't execute as well. There is no miracle pill for it. There is no quick answer. It's just
staying together."
The Bucks not only won the contest, it was also the first time in nine games that they scored 100 points or more.
