Milwaukee Bucks centre Andrew Bogut still hasn't fully recovered from arm injury
Milwaukee Bucks centre Andrew Bogut told NBA Fanhouse that he has not fully recovered from a season-ending injury that he suffered during a game against Phoenix
last April.
"I don't feel 100 per cent,'' Bogut said, pertaining to the dislocated elbow, broken hand and sprained wrist on his right arm that he suffered after being clipped
from behind by Amar'e Stoudemire.
"My arm's still giving me a bit of trouble, especially shooting. Offensively, my right hand is giving me trouble at the moment, especially with free throws. I'm
really struggling. Otherwise, it's not caused me a whole lot of problems other than just trying to work to get into the groove shooting.''
Rolling on defense
The former University of Utah standout has seen no ill effects on his defensive play. The seven-foot-tall Australian is averaging 10.9 points and 2.67 blocks, which
would be career bests. However, Bogut has struggled on offense. He is averaging just 11.6 points, which would be his worst scoring clip since his rookie season.

Bogut, who was drafted first overall in the 2005 NBA Draft, is also shooting just 48 per cent from field goal range, way below his career percentage of 53.1 per
cent. The most significant drop is in his free throw percentage. Bogut, who was shooting just 60.1 per cent from the free throw line, has dropped to 46.3 per cent.
Bogut, who rehabbed his arm during the off-season, made it to the season opener despite his poor fitness.

"At the start of the season, I was way worse than I am now,'' Bogut said. "I was probably 70 percent. It was really, really bad. The pain level was bad. I had to
monitor my minutes on the practice floor. I had to miss a couple of exhibition games. It was just a matter of being smart with it.''
The Bucks, who were off-season favorites to win the Central Division, have fallen to a 5-8 record after an 81-82 loss against the Oklahoma City Thunder last Saturday.
