Mince and Highland Colori both successful at Newmarket on 19th May, 2012
Rider Frankie Dettori worked his magic on his mount, Mince, as the duo successfully broke through the wire, and landed a magnificent victory in the CoralChampionsClub.co.uk Sprint Trophy (Handicap) at Newmarket on 19th May,
2012, where she justified her status as race favourite with the favoured odds of 3 to 1.
The race took a thrilling turn of events when Dettori took charge and moved towards the front of the pack.

The filly was buried towards the rear and slowly gained momentum and moved forward.
The three-year-old was in contention with the Marco Botti trained, Bartolomeu, in the final stages of the race and landed a head before the runner-up.

The third place was secured by Top Cop, who is under the training of Andrew Balding. The runner closely followed the leading pair, and finished a nose after Bartolomeu.
Frankie Dettori reflected on his previous races and discussed his racing strategy in these words:

"I had my first big win in this race - I was 17 and Jeremy Tree gave me a ride on Didicoy. Twenty-three years later and I don't know where all the time has gone. My plan was to get a run, even if meant going a bit wider."
The Lady Rothschild owned chestnut filly secured her third victory out of her six starts, in an incredible manner.

The talented runner who has plenty of years ahead of her - will not stop to think before securing another win.
Newmarket seemed lucky for trainer Andrew Balding too as his runner, Highland Colori, brought his best forth in the Poptelecom.co.uk Handicap at Newmarket on 19th May, 2012.
With sheer stamina and speed, it was enough to carry him through the finish line, 1 ¼ lengths before the race favourite, Great Expectations, whereas, Amazing Amoray finished third, a neck behind the runner-up.
Balding expressed his delight as he told the press that:
"I'm very pleased for the horse as he had a few issues last year soundness-wise and we didn't run him. We couldn't get him quite right, but he's right now and I wouldn't rule out getting another furlong with him."
