Mindanao republic...everyone agree or disagree?

I'd imagine Mindanao can sustain itself, it is even bigger and richer in comparison to some politically rich nations in the western world. Mindanao has plenty of natural resources[they mine gold, limestone, coal, etc]. This island has it's own power source and is capable of selling hydro power to some of it's neighbors if only supplies are managed efficiently. Plenty of agricultural lands too, some of it is not even inhabited yet as some people prefers to live up north...but that's not the question>>>

The real questions are, What is the logic behind separating Mindanao from the existing Republic? 2nd, is Mindanao ready for that??..   So my answer to the question for now is >>>
