So I started wearing Bare Mineral makeup and loved it until, when I would sweat my face would start itching!!

Then found out that the bismuth oxychloride could be the reason.. so I did some research and found another mineral makeup company that's products don't contain this ingredient, it's called Everyday Minerals!

I ordered the samples, cleaned my brush and would do you know still itched!! It so happens that the ingredient Mica could also cause itching! FRUSTRATING!!!!

So my question is, DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY MINERAL MAKEUP OR GOOD FOUNDATION THAT COVERS WELL BUT NO CAKEY LOOK AND NO LIQUID THAT DOES NOT CONTAIN BISMUTH OXYCHLORIDE OR MICA?!?!?

  1. I went to fairieorganics site their ingredients for foundation is:

Our foundation line ingredients are Mica, Boron Nitride, Zinc oxide, Titanium Oxide, allantoin. may contain iron oxides.

So...yeah they have mica in theirs too, but you know what? It might be your brushes that are making you itch! I've hear some people say goat hair brushes make them itch, or cheap store brands. You might want to try ordering a good synthetic brush and see if maybe that works better for you.

And YES bismuth will make you itch like crazy too! I cant use any makeup with that in it! I use LA Minerals and it's great stuff. No bismuth in it. I don't think they have any synthetic brushes though.

But just do a search for some.

    Good luck!

  2. Another person on Yahoo answers posted that she used a brand of mineral make up called Faerie Organic (sorry, I can't remember who posted that, or I'd give them credit!).  I went to the link she posted and checked out the product.  It's looks very good, and I think I may give it a try after my Bare Minerals runs out.  They'll even send you a free sample for the cost of shipping, so you haven't got anything to lose!  :)
