Mini 14 Question.?

I have a Mini 14 and I want to get a scope mount for it.It is the standard Mini 14 not the ranch rifle and it is a 181 series rifle.What is the best scope mount I can get.Also I am getting this for a red dot site,what is the best one to get for under 150$?

I've had a B-Square mount on my Mini-14 since 1992 and have never had any trouble with it. One thing I suggest is rotate the scope 90 degrees to the left so ejected brass will not hit the turret. This makes the up/down adjustment left/right instead, and the left/right becomes the up/down. The rule to remember when adjusting is up is left and left is down.
