Mini-DVD to PC withou video camera?

I have a mini-dvd-RW that I want to load onto the computer. However, It is not finalized and I cannot get the camera again. Does anyone know how to circumvent the finalization process?

Put it in the DVD-ROM drive & see what happens. Depending on your drives firmware, it may read it.

You don't finalize a mini DVD-RW only the miniDVD-R. I remember reading this in the manual of the miniDVD camera I took back in favor of the minidv camera.
