  1. The pigs sold as "mini" pigs are smaller than the farm pigs most people are familiar with.

However, be aware that those pigs often get to be over 1000 pounds when fully grown.

"Mini" pigs in comparison are smaller, but they are still very large, over 100 pounds. They don't make good house pets, and the pictures on the internet of pigs in teacups are PIGLETS in teacups.

The pig on the left is an adult, and the one on the right is younger:

If you want ANY sort of pig as a pet, you'll need quite a bit of land. They're great to have around the farm, but not in an apartment! They're intelligent and get bored easily, causing them to become aggressive and destructive.

  2. Yes, they exist.  I don't know where you could find one but they'd be expensive.  Do a web-search for mini pig and see what you find. Or do one for exotic pets.

I don't have one but I'm sure you feed and care for it just as you would any swine just feed it less.

  3. Any size pig is illegal within city limits as they are considered livestock, so unless you live on a zoned farm property, don't even bother.

Also keep in mind that any creature bred to be smaller than normal size tends to have a smaller than normal lifespan to go with it.
