Mini Truck ideas for a project?

me and some friends want to do a mini truck project what would be a a good setup and on what type of truck?

That's a very general question. The short answer is, buy and build whatever you like. If you intend to lay it out, and you want to keep your air-conditioner, I'd say go with a Nisan or a Toyota. Nissans are ridiculously easy to lay out, as well.
