I just adopted..well rescued from a box a lop rabbit, baby about 3-4 months i'm guessing. I'm not sure whether or not its going to be a large lop rabbit, or a mini lop. I already have a rabbit, and know all my info on keeping rabbits, introducing rabbits etc etc, so i don't need that info. I was just curiuos to know if there is a way to tell if i'm going to have a large lop or a mini lop.

  1. My best guess is the ears. If they look "too big" for your bun's body, I'd guess its a large lop. If they seem more proportionate or the baby seems smaller than your other rabbit was at the same age, I'd guess mini. Good luck! I love my bunny, and I'm actually thinking of getting her a little lop buddy.

  2. it's really hard to tell just by looking at them, but the french lops have much longer ears than the mini lops

  3. just wait to see when it stops growing i guess. i don't think there's any way to tell really. congrats though!
