What is the youngest age I can take my daughter in the local swimming pool?

  1. I'm pretty sure any age is fine in most pools. I used to babysit a little boy and we'd take him to the pool when he was about 2.

    In all pools they'll probably say that the child must be accompanied by an adult. So if you watch your daughter, I'm pretty sure any age is fine. Even if she can't swim properly, you can still let her play with toys or balls in the shallow water.

  3. doesn't matter, there is none (at least at the pools ive been at) . just keep your eye on her, cant trust those lifeguards..

  4. some pools have a separate pool for children who are younger. thats like 6-12 inches deep. as long as you stay with her she will be fine, there is no age limit i think
