I was wondering what the minimum age was for booking and staying in a hotel in Paris. I heard it was 19, but some sites are confusing me. Can anybody help?

  1. Regularly from the age of 18 years you have the full ability to conclude contracts, like booking a hotel.

However you may also do that at younger age, having a written authorization by both of your parents, which is either certified by an official government institution, or has copies of the parent's passports attached to prove the authentication, so you are not considered as being a runaway.

  2. I think it's 19 to book a hotel in France but 18 for an apartment. I've used this company before http://www.holiday-velvet.com/paris and you could check with them
