Minimum amount of income to support someone in the UK?

In order to get a fiancee visa for me to live in the UK i have to know if my fiance can support us both. What is the minimum amount of income he needs to earn in order to pass this part?

It depends really. He needs to be able to make enough money to pay for his home, bills, food and also be able to support whatever needs for you without the use of any public funds. When you apply for you visa, put in at least 3 banks statements to show them you have your own money, and 3 of his to show how much he has aswell as payslips to prove he actually has the job. when you apply, they ask in the application about how much he makes a month and where he spends it.
