Minimum wage in?

Vancouver BC? I'm looking at the downtown area of Vancouver or the Coquitlam area of Vancouver. I tried google searching it and i didn't see any numbers relating to a payment.

Starting wage (training wage) is 6 bucks an hour, but if you can show that you have previous experience, they have to pay the statutory minimum, which is $8. Of course, many of the people who pay minimum wage don't really care too much about rules anyway...

$8 per hour is the Province of BC's minimum wage.

$6 per hour is the minimum if you have less than 500 hours of work experience and you are bumped up to $8 when you reach 500 hours.

If you have some experience in another jurisdiction the starting wage is $8.00/hour.
