Minimun salary for a decent living for a family of 2?

What is the minimun salary required to have a decent living in dublin? we are a family of two. will E50k be enough?

50k is good if you want to live very basically and not have too many luxuris. But double that if you really want to be able to enjoy everything.

There are a lot of different options in the city where things can be done cheaply though and it is quite possible to live a rich life if you have a good set of friends and are not too fond of alcohol and pubbing! :)

Hi everyone,

I consider relocating in Dublin next September.

It seems I could get a job / hopefully at least/ in the gross salary range of  EUR 25-30 K+ some benefits per year, around EUR1900 -2100 gross per month I guess.

Is it sufficient for an average life for a single person?My plan is I will choose shared accommodation at the beginning.

Dubliners, please tell me if it is an amount one can afford a bit more than basics... Thanks for your replies..
