Following is line-up for the second heat of the RD Racing Trafalgar Cup.
Ministry May May
Bowtime Regan
Markeys Dragon
Sids Champ
Sawpit Sydney
Droopys Patsy
The bookies have many reasons to rate Ministry May May, as the most favourite hound. The black b***h is stepping into the battle with a comprehensive win under her belt. On February 4, she displayed an extraordinary show, nabbing a huge 14 ¼ lengths triumph.
Her last win was not a surprise for anyone, as the May-10 daughter of Ballymac Maeve out of Teddy Hoe is in fine momentum these days. In such a young age, the b***h has been achieving good results, and she has surely a bright future ahead.
Sawpit Sydney is struggling with his form at the moment. The black dog did a fine job in January, sealing three back to back win. However, he lost his rhythm afterwards, losing last two heats badly. On both occasions, he got crowded in the middle and ended
up fifth on the chart.
Crash’s son out of Foot Tapper will look to repeat his January’s performance. Since he is running at Oxford for the first time, the new surface might also inflict a bit of pressure on the Sawpit Sydney.
Markeys Dragon will be full of confidence after his comfortable 7 ¾ lengths win on February 2. The black dog has the ability to do well on every kind of track. He made his previous three outings on three difference tracks, and appeared as winner on two occasions.
Hence, the rest of the line-up should not take him lightly.
It is hard to expect anything special from Droopys Patsy, although he won his previous race convincingly. After a few ordinary performances, the black dog finally succeeded in breaking his losing streak on Feb 2. However, he will have to improve his running
time in order to challenge the likes of Ministry May May.
After a long gap of more than 100 days, Bowtime Regan ran on January 31, and was impressive, finishing second on the table. The white and fawn dog did a lot of practice last month, making three solo runs.
The hard work paid him off in the last race, as he performed magnificently despite being forced to check. Ballymac Ruso’s son out ofKillough Belles will definitely be a huge threat to Ministry May May, and is worth betting on.
Sids Champ is a talented hound, but it will be dangerous to anticipate a winning performance by him. In his last run, he could not spark, finishing fifth on the table.
Ministry May May is a clear favourite, and one can expect her to dominate the show all the way through. However, Bowtime Regan can spring up a surprise.
