Minneapolis vs Chicago?

Question

Im going to be moving next January for the first year of college and I am so stuck between these two cities. I need as MANY answers and opinions I can get.

WHERE SHOULD I MOVE?!

Debate-Minneapolis or Chicago, Why & Why not?

What are you going to school to study? I think any way it goes Chicago would be the better choice. There will most likely be many more job options after graduation and there are probably more fun things to do here. I can't say for sure because I've never been to Minneapolis but I know Chicago is a much better city with much more to offer. I imagine Minneapolis to be boring...but maybe not. But compared to Chicago I would think that it probably is boring....

I lived in both places amd went to school at U of M.  I'm from Chicago.

Let me say that MPLS is beautiful in the summer but colder than Chicago in the winter.  If you love outdoor activities, MPLS is the place.  Everything is close by.
