Is there any way you can just get a PWC license in MN with out having to get the boat license as well?

In Minnesota they are one in the same if you are talking about the Watercraft Operator's Permit. Just taught at one of these classes and it is well worth the time. Being that PWC's are boats, and they must learn ALL the same rules as a boat it only makes sense they are permitted together. The class focuses on safety and the rules of the road. Go get the permit it is easy, and then you can drive your uncle's 40 footer on 'Tonka.
