Minnesota Vikings looking to acquire Randy Moss
There is a strong possibility that Randy Moss could be on his way back to the Minnesota Vikings.
According to FOXSports.com there are serious trade talks between the Vikings and the New England Patriots and that the two teams are "very close to a deal" that would send the seven-time
Pro Bowl receiver back to the Vikings, who originally drafted Moss  in 1998. It is believed that all there is left is Moss working out terms of a new contract with the Vikings.
Trade rumours surrounding Moss have been flying around since the opening week of the season after the Patriots defeated the Cincinnati Bengals. After the game Moss said he was likely playing
his last season for the Patriots.
"You want to be appreciated and me personally, I don't think I'm being appreciated," Moss said during the 12 September post-game news conference. "I take my job very seriously to heart
and I want to let the fans, the real fans of the New England Patriots know that I'm not here to start any trouble, I am here to play my last year out of my contract.
"I want to be here as a Patriot, I love being here," Moss continued. "But I just think from a business standpoint, this will probably be my last year as a Patriot and I'm not retiring
- I'm still gonna play some football. I just wanted to get that off my chest."
The comments by Moss certainly irked the Patriots and they have since been shopping around his services.
Moss began his career with Minnesota in 1998 and spent seven years with the Vikings before joining Oakland Raiders in 2005. After spending two seasons with the Raiders he was traded to
the Patriots in 2007 for a fourth round draft pick. In his first season with the Patriots, Moss set a National Football League single-season record with 23 touchdown receptions.
