Minnesota Wild players, Zach Parise in no rush for an imperfect labour deal -NHL Update
Going through one of the most exciting phases of your life and having the idea of not being able to start fresh due to a lockout is certainly that has worried Zach Parise after the former New Jersey Devils captain and newly acquiring Minnesota Wild forward
came out to discuss how he felt about the whole collective bargaining agreement procedure.
What Zach Parise and his teammates want is obviously a deal that will last a long time, instead of benefitting a side for some time, they need something that is there to stay and secure their rights till the end.
Parise was on the brink of starting his career in the National Hockey League (NHL) back in 2004-2005 when the first lockout came into play and had to spend that time in the minors before the NHL was officially back up and good to go.
"I think the '04-'05 season is still pretty fresh in everyone's minds, and now we find ourselves in the same position," Parise saidm, according to Twincities.com. "It's not good for the game. It's not good for anyone. We're ready to play. We want to play.
But (NHL commissioner) Gary (Bettman)'s pretty adamant about his third lockout of his tenure."
What Zach Parise is doing at the moment is staying optimistic, no matter how dramatic  the situation might get because there is no other viable option out of the situation in lieu of waiting it out and letting time take its course.
"We want to play in a system that's fair for both sides," Wilds’ Cal Clutterbuck said. "We're not asking to get 100 percent of everything. We're just trying to make a compromise. As long as we're in the right system, I think it's important for us to get
it right this time, so we don't have to be in this situation ever again."
Minnesota fans are also looking for a wild season with Zach Parise and Ryan Suter signed on to the team with a mega 13-year, $98 million contract for each of them, a long time investment on the clubs end to see a better start and end to the upcoming season.
