As the most supportive for thier Manager?..tonight Gardy was thrown out and threw his hat off and kicked it...while the fans threw thier hats on the field...or just irresponsible?..While of course one Rowdy Twin fan got Ozzie angry and got into it with him.....though what makes it irresponsible was the fact some didn't have hats to throw instead they threw Ball Bearings and Darts(Where the h**l did they get those?)

Whats your reaction to the fans actions tonight?

  1. Mmm I would have to agree with what most people said. I as a White Sox fan have always said the Twins have a great team and great fans, but seeing how they acted today was a shock.

I won't judge all Twins fans on the behavior of some, but that was wrong.

Not only did that delay the game, but it makes the Twins look bad.

The White Sox are equally supportive of their manager if you havn't noticed we normally go on winning streaks after a Ozzie rant.

The Twins played well in each game and deserved to win. We can just hope that next time we face you we won't play like that.

  2. As a Twins fan as well, I was upset about that HORRIBLE call, so I can't blame Gardy for getting riled up, or even the fans.

But throwing stuff out in the field to the point where 1. The W.S players had to leave the field & 2. The Twins could've forfeited the game because of their fans actions...that's not right. It doesn't help the Twins at all, and only makes the fans look bad. A hearty series of boos & leave it at that is just fine, IMO.

I also offer apologies to all.

  3. Its the White Sox man...big rival....and It was a terrible call ..so Gardy kicked his hat so then the fans threw theirs in....Monkey see Monkey do

  4. geez! i have to see a replay of that!!

talk about supportive but extreme as well!!

come on twinkies fans it was a horrible call but still...

i never would have expected that from twins fans

  5. So . . . Red Sox and Yankees fans can get to the extreme, but White Sox and Twins can't?

People are underrating the Twins fans because of their revenue, but this just shows that Twins fans can be as powerful as Red Sox and Yankee fans.

sure, what they did was wrong, but at the same time, strong.

  6. I was at the game and I was really embarrassed by our fans actions. Throwing things onto the field (not to mention a football, where the heck did that come from??) is taking it too far. Twins fans are always very supportive of their manager and players, but I've never seen or thought they would take it far enough where Ozzie would have to pull his players off the field.

  7. I watched the game and from MN.  I was disappointed in the fans - maybe they were here from Chicago or NY. [Kidding].   But, keep in mind, the umpire really blew the call.  In fact, the umpires lately are becoming the "10th" man on the field.  I didn't see any ball bearings or darts, I just saw hats.... remember Billy Martin?  He would make Gardy look like a saint.

  8. Tonight is one of those nights where i am embarrased to be a Twins fan.  We are a great organization and some idiots decided to make the organization and the city look bad. Other organizations respected the twins because they did everything right.  I wasnt a part of the incident but on behalf of Twins fans everywhere i would like to apologize the twins players and coaching staff and ownership. i also want to apologize to the chicago white sox.  and lastly i want to apologize to baseball fans everywhere. That was just unnacceptable
