The agent of Zlatan Ibrahimovic feels that his client deserves to win the award and has called the current FIFA president as a mad dictator while also calling Platini an incompetent individual
In the columns of Swedish daily Expressen, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029’s agent, Mino Raiola took some time out to aim ire at the Ballon d’Or award, FIFA president Sepp Blatter and UEFA chief, Michel Platini.
Over the years, many people have criticised the standards of awarding someone the prestigious football award. And, while talking to reporters, Ibra’s agent, who like his client does not mince words, hit out at the hypocrisy of the award and said that if
Ibrahimovic does not win the title this time around, it will prove that Ballon d’Or is a politically corrupt price.
“The prize is only important if Zlatan wins. If not, then it will only reinforce the idea that this is a politically corrupt prize.”
However, it is not only the standards of Ballon d’Or that irritate Raiola. The agent is also sceptical of the way people are running their affairs in FIFA and UEFA. Ibra’s agent went on to call FIFA president, Sepp Blatter as a ‘Mad Dictator’ while he summarised
UEFA chief Michel Platini as a player who apart from his playing days, has not done anything for the game.
Michel Platini was very critical of the Paris Saint-Germain project and the salaries the Qatari owners are paying. And, Raiola says that Platini should have accepted the project rather than criticising it.
“He criticises PSG and their wages instead of accepting the fact that his own sport is progressing with great talent, big stars and big investors, who would generate yet more wealth and power in general.”
“He is one of those who want the big investors to move away from football. What is the difference with the sponsors of the Champions League then? It just shows how incompetent he is. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michel-c25453 Platini has never done something important for football.”
Raiola then referred to Platini as the mob boss and asked him to stop criticising his players.
“My last message to Platini, the mob boss: stop criticising my players and go to h**l.”
