Minolta camera. XG9? value?

i have a minolta XG9, (not to be confused with minolta X9)

and it's in very good condition. my cousin just got it for me recently in switzerland. i don't know much about it, and i'm just getting into photography.

i have two 35mm lenses, one's regular and one's a really long zoom lens.

i also have the flash to attach to the top, and i have many different colored coverings for the lens.

my question is what is the actual value of this camera?

and since it was only made from 1979-1981, how many are there out there?

thank you! [=

  1. Maybe $30 to $40 with a 50mm f1.7 lens.

I bought my XG-9 in 1977 from a mail-order camera store. It arrived on Nov. 17 - the same day my daughter was born. In Nov. of 2007 I used it to take pictures at her 30th. birthday party.

  2. The Chrome version sells for about $20 and the Black version sells for about $30.

Add $15 if the Rokkor-X 50mm F/1.7 prime is included.
