Minor Speeding ticket?

I am a minor and got a speeding ticket on july 18 i am in texas if that matters when do i need to call the courts?? Is it too late

  1. calling the courts is never a bad idea. they can tell you the info you need better than anyone. sometimes it takes a week or two before the courts have any record of it but it can't hurt to call asap and find out. good luck!


  2. from what i am aware of they usually have dates the officers tell you from wen u need to go to court. it usually takes a couple months so i don't think you're late

  3. On the ticket there should be a date that you either have to pay the ticket by, or you have to go to the court and contest it.  I always recommend attempting to contest it, as they can not punish you for that.  My daughter received a ticket when she was 16, she contested it, the cop that gave her the ticket did not show up on the hearing date and it was thrown out.
