Minorities in America?

Question

African Americans and Latinos are a minority in America, yet if you Google Search Prison Statistics, they are the overwhelming majority of American Prison Inmates... Why is that?

poverty, drug use, lack of decent legal help and racism.

I'm not a sociologist, but I'll have a shot at this.   Maybe they are the ones committing the crimes, being convicted and sent to prison.    You will hear lots of liberal garbage about inner cities and how we need to give them more money and this wouldn't happen.   I say it is because of the death of personal responsibility and of two-parent families, both a result of failed liberal policies and social engineering.    We give single, minority low or no-income mothers more money to not be married to the father(s) of their children.

its a culture problem, gangsta rap and such, black parents refusing to move away from the inner cities and find a less expensive much safer way of life, uhhhhhhhh, thats part of it

Poverty and lack of education are DIRECT contributing factors to prison populations.  The majority in prisons are white, but percentage wise minorities are disproportionately represented.  

The cure is to end oppressive poverty.

Because the lower class is where most criminals are found and it is predominantly black and Latino.

It's not racist, it's true and it's very unfair and sad.
