The Giallorossi midfielder states that AS Roma have a lot to learn from the dismal experiences of the season; hopes that the team will return to European competition soon.

The Giallorossi remained inconsistent throughout the season, and their problematic campaign saw them fail to qualify for a European competition for the first time in 15 years, and forced Luis Enrique to resign from his post.
Pjanic stressed that there is a lot that the Giallorossi can learn from their woes of the season. The former Olympique Lyon player stated that the squad was revolutionised in order to adapt to the new style of play, and insisted
that the team requires more time in order to start performing at their best.
The Maggica midfielder hoped that the club will return to play against the Europe’s top clubs soon.
While talking to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the 22-year-old said:
“There are a lot of things to save from this season. A lot of new players arrived at the club and it was only logical that we needed a bit of time. I hope to return to European competition soon.”

Pjanic admitted that the manager has done exceedingly well at the Elefanti, but stated that it is up to the Giallorossi authorities to select a coach for the club.

However, he pointed out that he still has three years on his contract with AS Roma, and insisted that it is too early for him to talk about a move away from the Giallorossi.
