If I had to make a prediction, I would say that Kessler beats Miranda by decision, but you can never count out a power puncher like Miranda.  All it takes is one of his right hands and the fight is over.  Kessler is by far, the better skilled fighter, and he should be able to beat Miranda by a wide-points decision victory.  I am really looking forward to this fight, because with Joe Calzaghe moving up, the super middleweight division is wide open and the winner of this fight will probably be the man to beat in the division along with Lucian Bute.

I think Mikkel Kessler clearly has the tools to beat Miranda, just like Vernon Forrest had the tools to beat Mayorga. . . .the issue here is the INTIMIDATION FACTOR. . .and Miranda has obviously gotten inside of Kessler's head.  Proof is in the way Kessler has dealt with whether or not he wants to fight Miranda.  Moving down from supermiddle to middle, Kessler won't want a tough fight. . . .and he knows Miranda can really hurt him.  He also knows, though, that the PAYOFF for beating Miranda will put him right back in the public eye. . .and not just as "the guy Calzaghe beat".  Right now, he's sitting at the Lacy/Manfredo table.  If he beats Miranda. . . . .then he gets a bit of his mystique back.
