The Hannover 96 manager has stressed on the importance of winning the remaining games in the Bundesliga.

Slomka claimed that it was a great comeback from his side after they suffered a disappointing loss at the hands of Werder Bremen last week. He insisted that his side scored at the right intervals and left no chance whatsoever for
the opposition in the first-half.
The manager insisted that his side will have to remain consistent in the remaining games of the season to make sure they remain in contention for a fifth place finish at the end of the campaign to qualify for the UEFA Europa League.
However, the tactician also praised his goalkeeper for an amazing performance in the game as he made some outstanding saves.
“With the teams right behind us winning, we were under a fair bit of pressure. Ron-Robert Zieler's saves kept us in the game more than once. Koln could have finished us off, but luckily for us they didn't,” he was quoted as saying
in an interview.
On the other hand, FC Koln manager Stale Solbakken stated that Koln had their chances in the second-half but they failed to take any of them. He admitted concerns of relegation and stressed on the importance of winning games until
the end of the season.
“In the second half in particular we had our chances, unfortunately we didn't take them. I'm satisfied with my team, although we're obviously well aware that we're in the midst of a relegation battle. Hannover are a top-class side
and they deserved the win in the end,” he concluded.
