The Bianconeri player has dedicated the victory against Napoli to his fans and family, along with the banned manager Antonio Conte.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mirko-Vucinic-c26024 has voiced his delight at winning the Supercoppa Italia against Napoli, and has hailed the team for the way they worked together to win the match.
The Serie A Champions met the Coppa Italia winners in the recent Super Cup played in Beijing and despite going down twice, the Old Lady emerged as the eventual winners from the controversial game.
Vucinic scored for Juventus in the crucial trophy match, but maintained that it was the team-work that won the match for the Turin giants.
The Bianconeri striker insisted that the players have once again shown that they are a strong unit, and insisted that the whole team deserves to be credited for the trophy triumph.
The Old Lady attacker was adamant that the fact that they equalised despite going down twice stands testament to their strength and character as a team, and insisted that the win has provided them a perfect start to the new season.
While talking to Juventus’ official website, the 28-year-old said:
“One man does not change a game. It is the group that fought back, as we have done so many times. It was a victory from the team. We went behind twice against a strong side, but recovered the situation with character. We start the season on the right foot.”
Vucinic dedicated the victory to the fans and his family as well as Juventus manager Antonio Conte, who has received a 10-month ban for his involvement in the match fixing scandal.
The Bianconeri striker was also critical of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003’s boycott of the presentation ceremony, and reminded them that Juventus stood there to applaud them, after they won the Coppa Italia final last season against the Old Lady.
“I want to dedicate the victory to the Juventus fans and my family, while of course we are also happy for Antonio Conte. Everyone can do what they want, but after the Coppa Italia Final in Rome we stayed on the pitch and applauded Napoli as they lifted the
trophy.” He added.
