Max Mirnyi/Daniel Nestor beat Sergiy Stakhovsky/Mikhail Youzhny 
World number 3 Belarusian/Canadian pair of Max Mirnyi and Daniel Nestor cruised past Ukrainian/Russian pair of Sergiy Stakhovsky and Mikhail Youzhny, ranked 15th in the world,  in straight sets 6-4, 6-2 to advance to the quarter-finals of the men’s doubles event. Mirnyi and Nestor took just 59 minutes to undo their opponents in a one-sided contest.
The Belarusian, Canadian pair needed a single break of serve in the opening set to win it 6-4. They delivered 1 ace and 63 per cent of the first serves in the opening set.
Mirnyi and Nestor amazingly won 100 per cent of the points on their first serves. In comparison, Stakhovsky and Youzhny hit 67 per cent of the first serves and converted 83 per cent of them into points. The Ukrainian/Russian pair saved just 1 of the 2 break points they faced in the first set. They did not receive a single break point in the opening set.
The second set was completely dominated by Mirnyi and Nestor as they broke their opponents twice in the second set, winning it 6-2.
The Belarusian/Canadian pair kept their first serve percentage at 86 per cent and won 72 per cent of the points on first serves. Mirnyi and Nestor converted 2 of the 4 break points they received in the second set. Their opponents did not receive any break point in the second set.

Swedish/Romanian pair of Robert Lindstedt and Horia Tecau prevailed over John Isner and Sam Querrey of USA in straight sets 6-4, 6-4 in the second round at the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami on Monday.
Lindstedt and Tecau broke their opponents in the ninth game of the first set, winning it 6-4. The Swedish/Romanian pair hit a single ace and three double faults in the opening set. They delivered 58 per cent of the first serves in the first set, winning 86 per cent of the points on them.
In the second set, Lindstedt and Tecau broke once to win it 6-4. The Swedish/Romanian pair fired in 60 per cent of the first serves and converted 87 per cent of them into points in the second set. They did not face a single break point in the second set. Lindstedt and Tecau converted 1 of the 4 break points they received in the second set. The match lasted for 1 hour and 5 minutes.
Lindstedt and Tecau are slated to meet Mirnyi and Nestor in the next round.
