Joachim Loew’s Germany downed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kazakhstan-c2931 4-0 in their Euro 2012 Group A qualifier played at the Fritz-Walter Stadium in Kaiserslautern on Saturday. Miroslav Klose and Thomas Muller scored a brace each to help Die Mannschaft secure all three points and maintain
their unbeaten run in the campaign.
The home-side started with Miroslav Klose as the lone striker and Mesut Ozil played just behind him in an attacking role. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lukas-Podolski-c22896 and Thomas Muller started on their respective
wings.
The visitors played http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nurbol-Zhumaskaliyev-c28247 in attack with Azat Nurgaliev and Ulan Konysbayev providing attacking flare from the wings.
The Germans started brilliantly, making surging runs forward and dominating possession right from the start. The hosts were ahead in only the third minute after Schweinsteiger’s free-kick found Klose, who scored from close-range to put the German’s ahead.
The home side could have gone 2-0 in the 13th minute but Phillip Lahm’s shot went just over the bar after some brilliant link-up play with Thomas Muller.
The lead was extended in the 25th minute by Bayern Munich striker Thomas Muller, who headed past the Kazakh goalkeeper from a Mesut Ozil free-kick. David Loria made two superb back-to-back saves from Klose to deny the veteran his second goal of
the game in the 28th minute.
Die Mannschaft went 3-0 up moments before the interval with Muller scoring his second of the night after a superb through ball from Ozil. The Bayern Munich man guided his shot past Loria in a simple finish and the hosts were 3-0 up at the interval.
The second-half got off to a slow start with the Germans, having won the game in the first period, showing no real urgency in the opening minutes. Two shots from Klose and Khedira were taken care of by the Kazakh goalkeeper. The Kazakh team’s best chance
of the match came in the 71st minute when a thunderous shot from substitute http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zhambyl-Kukeyev-c37917 hit the post and denied the visitors their first goal of the campaign.
