Klose suffered a thigh injury in March earlier this year and was ruled out for the remainder of the Serie A season. The player was a major doubt for the European championship but his swift recovery over the last few weeks means

“I don't feel any pain [after my injury]. Of course I want to reach 100% again, but that is difficult at my age. The coach has [at least] two options in every position. We make things very easy for him. We constantly show that
passion and that will to run,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Klose hailed Gomez and Reus and insisted that the duo can make a huge impact at Euro 2012. He admitted that the two players will be fighting for a place in the starting line-up and the manager will certainly have a selection headache.
“Mario is a superb striker, but I would not underestimate Reus. He can play an important role at this tournament. Both are working very hard. The coach has a tough choice to make,” he concluded.
