The Italian Champions will travel to Stadio Olimpico Rome to take on Lazio in matchday 21 encounter on Wednesday, February 1st, 2012. The two teams met a few weeks ago in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia where
Milan won by 3-1.
Reja has started playing mind games ahead of the league encounter by insisting that his first-choice striker is better than his rivals’ hitman.
Klose has been a revelation since joining the capital club on a free transfer from Bayern Munich in the summer. The German international has scored 12 goals in the league so far this season. On the other hand, Ibrahimovic has also
enjoyed in the ongoing season, and is leading the goal-scoring charts with 15 goals so far this season.
The Biancazzurri boss hailed Ibrahimovic as a top player but insists that he is different to the German. Reja believes that Klose is a team player, while Ibra focuses on individual brilliance.
While talking to the reporters, Reja said,
“They are two different champions. The Swede is more spectacular and individualistic; http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Miro-c26030 is more practical and prefers the collective. He drops back and helps out the team, it is rewarding for him.”
“I did not think he had this fight, but he plays a fundamental part in build-up play as well as in finishing moves. Klose works a bit more on the collective strategies of the team and then in the final quarter of the pitch is invincible.
He is a smart player, even when looking at where to shoot.”
The 66-year-old is predicting a tough game for his side, and insists that his team is in the right shape to take on the Champions.
