The 33-year-old striker picked up a thigh muscle injury in a league game with Lazio, which has ruled him out of the game for at least a month.
The Biancocelesti striker insisted that he is confident that he will be able to come out of the injury in-time to join Germany’s campaign for the Euro 2012 trophy. The forward insisted that the injury is not a point of worry for
him, and assured that he is well on the road to make full recovery, before the start of the grand tournament and to be there as an inform player.
While talking to the press, Bild former Bayern Munich man told:
“I’m not worried about my injury ahead of Euro 2012, absolutely not. I’m right on schedule to make a full recovery and I’ll get to the European Championship in excellent form.”
The Euro 2012 is set to kick-off in Warsaw on Friday, 8 June 2012, where the top teams from Europe will battle each other for the title of European Champion.
However, Miroslav Klose insisted that he is unsure if his recovery will be in time before the end of the on-going Serie A season, and insisted that he may not be able to make another appearance for Lazio before summer.
The German veteran joined the Stadio Olimpico outfit at the start of the ongoing season in summer, on a bosman transfer from Bayern Munich. The striker has scored 13 goals in the 25 appearances for his team in Serie A.
