Mirrored expected to dominate Ripon Rowels Handicap
Mirrored seems to be in a comfortable position to claim the Ripon Rowels Handicap in England on Monday, August 27, 2012. He is in very good form whereas the rest of the participants do not seem to be in a position to match him in the race today.
A total of eight runners have been attracted towards the 1 mile race, which has a cash prize of £10,082 for the winner. Although, anything can happen in racing, yet it seems that Mirrored will be able to dominate the proceedings because of the momentum he
is carrying right now.
He has been rated as the favourite to succeed with a starting price of 3 to 1 and the punters will definitely be risking a lot of bets in his favour, as the track conditions will suit him more than others.
The six-year-old gelding made his debut in July 2008 and has participated in quite a few races since then. He has got some useful experience and his performances have not been bad at all.
During his debut season, the Tim Easterby’s trainee was unable to win any race, but he displayed very good speed and stamina. He finished that year on a positive note, securing a third place against some very good runners.
This gave a lot of confidence to the seasoned runner and he did a very good job throughout the 2009 season. He managed to win the first two events that year and continued to make his team proud afterwards.
However, things did not work out well for Dansili’s son during the next year, as he gave some lacklustre performances back then. He did not have the speed to match his rivals and it seemed that his career would come to an end pretty soon.
Despite that, Mirrored’s trainer kept on working hard on his form and fitness and the results got better for him with the passage of time. He improved his form throughout 2011 and got even better during the ongoing season.
The skilful runner has won three races in 2012 until now and will be eying to win another race today. His opponents are not in very good form, which will be a great opportunity for him. He will be accompanied by Duran Fentiman, who has partnered him on plenty
of occasions in the past as well.
