Misbah-Ul-Haq and PCB pay tribute to Mark Boucher – Cricket News Update
Pakistan skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ashraf-c46397 has extended his sympathies to Cricket South Africa following the unfortunate incident.
“ ... Mark Boucher's injury and retirement has saddened us all,” said Misbah. “He was an inspirational cricketer and one of the finest all time wicketkeepers the game has ever produced. A true competitor, he has been a role model for many young cricketers. I, on behalf of my team, salute his contributions to the game of cricket and wish him best of luck for his future.”
In addition to Misbah’s statement, PCB chairman Zaka Ashraf also contacted Dr Willie Basson, president of Cricket South Africa, to offer sympathies, on behalf of the PCB, and himself, to the board and fans in the wake of the tragic incident. He also expressed the hope that Boucher would make a speedy recovery from his injury.

He eventually went on to announce his retirement from international cricket on July 10, owing to the “severity” of his eye injury.
