Misbah to be retained as captain for Asia Cup: Sources – Cricket News Update

"Misbah is going to be retained as captain for the Asia Cup and there are no immediate plans to sack him as captain of the one-day or T20 squads," said a senior board official while speaking to media reporters on Saturday.
Falsifying the rumours that the board is likely to strip Misbah of the limited overs captaincy of the Pakistan team, the official said that the issue is not even on the agenda of the governing body’s March 1st meeting.
"All this talk about Misbah being replaced as captain for limited overs cricket is not correct,” said the senior PCB official. “So far he is captain for all three formats and this issue is not even on the agenda of the governing board meeting that is due
to be held on March 1," he added further.
Misbah, who took over as the limited overs captain from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shahid-Afridi-c2482 in July last year, and has so far led the side in 19 One Day Internationals winning 14 and losing only 5, unfortunately 4 of those 5 losses have come against England earlier this month.
