"I don't think it is in the hands of players or cricket authorities as far as Indo-Pak cricket ties are concerned,” said Misbah.
The captain also indicated that it is depressing that cricketing ties are affected because of political issues.
"Playing India is very important for us from a cricketing and financial point of view. The more we play against each other the more mature the audiences will also become,” added Misbah.
India has been continuously ignoring Pakistani cricketers for participation in the IPL since its last three editions. In addition, Pakistani cricketers have also been sidelined from playing in the Champions League T20.
