Misbah-ul-Haq, the triumphant http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 skipper reckons floodlight failure at the start of Bangladesh innings broke the momentum of hosts as the Bengali Tigers lost the third and last match of the ODI series by 58 runs.
The Pakistan skipper agreed that the Tigers were in rhythm and looked daunting with the bat at the start of their innings last night and prompted him to reassess game strategy before the blackout broke the momentum of hosts.
"I think momentum was with Bangladesh at that time," said Misbah while talking to the media reporters at the post match media conference after 58-run win at Chittagong last night, December 6, 2011.
"The blackout broke the momentum and we reaped the benefit and got back in the game. We got time to think about our bowling during the break and came back strongly," he added further.

In reply Bangladesh lost hard-hitting opener http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mahmudullah-c1877 buckled down to add 69 runs to the score card for the second wicket stand to give the hosts hopes of a turn around. The Tigers
were 61 for 1 when the floodlight failure stopped the match, disturbing the concentration of the well-set pair. On their return to the ground, Bangladesh crumbled quickly as Pakistan spinners struck. The last nine wickets of the Tigers fell for 50 runs.
Misbah praised the Bangladesh bowlers; however, he said that batting had let the home side down.
"They are struggling in the batting department, especially on a wicket like this it is really difficult for the batsmen if they are short of confidence,” said Misbah.
“I think that's what is happening with them. I think they have to really improve their batting," he added further.
Pakistan and Bangladesh are next scheduled to face off in a Test match starting on December 9, 2011, in Chittagong.
