Misbun Ramdan Mohmed Misbun eases into Men’s Singles second round of Slovenia International
Malaysia’s upcoming player Misbun Ramdan Mohmed Misbun easily advanced into Men’s Singles second round after beating Slovakia’s Jarolim Vicen in first round contest of FORZA Slovenia International 2013 on Friday, May 10, in Slovenia.
The top seeded Misbun Ramdan, who has been showing a steady progress in his skills for the last couple of years, showed his elevated craft on court and managed to overpower his rival by taking the court time for just 25 minutes.
Malaysian shuttler put up good show of aggressive and top quality badminton and remained successful in crushing his Slovak rival in a lopsided fight that ended up in straight games with a 21-14 and 21-11 total on the board.
Meanwhile, the lower ranked Jarolim tried to show his attacking skills but failed to find frequent opportunities. He committed many un-forced errors and eventually crashed out without getting a respectable total.
The impressive speed and powerful strokes of Misbun Ramdan helped him to take control of the pace right from the opening rallies of opening game.
Misbun Ramdan showed that he has got top class skills on court and remained successful in taking a strong position in the arena.
Until the one-minute interval, the lofty Misbun Ramdan was leading the game with a comfortable difference.
The underdog Jarolim tried his level best to stop the progress of his rival but failed to get stronger after the one-minute interval as he lost his focus on court.
Misbun Ramdan was very calm and composed on court as he did not play negative badminton and ended up the first set with a comfortable margin of 21-14.
Jarolim was again in all sorts of trouble in the second game as he received a hostile treatment from his rival who was at his best on court.
Malaysian shuttler was in incredible control of the game and he did not face any problem in building a stunning gap until the end of first half.
The tricky and positive play in the concluding half of second set assisted Misbun Ramdan to win the set with a reasonable 21-11 total on the board.
