Misbun Ramdan Mohmed Misbun, one of the spirited young players from Malaysia, finds a wonderful start at the Bitburger Open Grand Prix Gold 2012 as he easily toppled his local challenger Ari Trisnanto in Men’s Singles first round on Tuesday, October 30,
in Germany.
The un-seeded Misbun Ramdan was in terrific form as he did not take much time in getting familiarity with court conditions and remained successful in grabbing victory against his German rival in by taking just 26 minutes of the court time.
Malaysian youngster was in a tremendous shape as he floated in the arena with an incredible speed and managed to win the battle in two games with a comfortable score on the board.
On the contrary, the confused Trisnanto failed to respond positively to his home fans as he could not play well against his in-form Malaysian rival and lost to him in straight sets without even getting close.
Misbun Ramdan played with superb control in his shots from the starting points of opening game and remained confident on court.
The tempo of the rallies was fast and Misbun Ramdan started to construct lead without showing any respect to his German rival who failed to put up strong show.
It was the Malaysian shuttler who did not slow down the speed of rallies in the starting half and secured a superb lead on score board.
After the mid-game break, the impressive Misbun Ramdan continued his focused and fast play in the arena and remained successful in keeping a decent lead.
In the ending points, Misbun Ramdan did not face any considerable problem and finished up the set with a comfortable 21-17 margin on the board.
On the other hand, Trisnanto could not dominate the pace of rallies as he received a punishing treatment from his challenger who was aggressive and positive in the arena.
Misbun Ramdan was in incredible control in the opening half of second game and he took a comfortable lead until the one-minute break.
In the ending half of second game, Malaysian shuttler sailed smoothly without facing any alarming situation and won the game with a dominating score of 21-15.
Misbun Ramdan won this first round encounter in a decent fashion in just 26 minutes with a superb 21-17 and 21-15 difference on the board.
